naked reflection

is an exhibition that critiques the pervasive influence of social media on self-representation and societal norms. It explores how digital platforms shape our understanding of identity and encourage curated, often superficial, self-images. the exhibition features a large glass cube, nearly filling the interior space of the neue nationalgalerie. coated with a one-way mirror film, it reflects the surroundings by day, encouraging visitors to use it for photos or self-reflection, unaware of what happens inside. 

at night, interior lighting reveals its contents: naked figures with the visitors’ faces projected onto their mannequin heads, making the visitors 

involuntary participants.

these provocative projections, combining nudity with personal imagery, are designed to polarize and shock, confronting the audience with themes of vulnerability and superficiality.
